Lee started her art career in 1948 when she became employed at Joslins Department Store rendering newspaper ads as a fashion artist.
Her formal studies included the University of Denver and Columbia University in New York for sculpture, painting and drawing.
Lee's unique style is cured from over forty years of fashion drawing. Her art is also influenced by the tutoring of Mel Carter and Desmond O'Hagan. Her work has been exhibited throughout Colorado and in Taos, New Mexico.
Lee has a rare talent for color expression and figure composition. Her works are emotional, sensitive and bold.
